Congratulation to Dr. Victoria Belancio on the award of a research grant from the National Institute on Aging to study "The Impact of Advanced Parental Age on Genomic Instability in  Offspring Associated with Retrotransposon-Induced DNA Damage."


Congratulations to Dr. Ricardo Mostany on his R01 grant from the National Institute on Aging!  Ricardo has been a junior investigator on our P20 COBRE in Aging and Regenerative Medicine.

Aging Studies PhD student, Lauren Kodroff, presented at the Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her talk was titled, "Impact on Microbiome manipulation on age-related inflammation and immune system dysfunction."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Former student, Dr. Jacob Kendall, has published an article in Ageing & Society titled "Living arrangements and health at older ages in rural Malawi" with Tulane faculty member, Dr. Philip Anglewicz.
