Biography
Dr. William Sherman completed his medical degree and residency at Louisiana State University, followed by an arthroplasty fellowship at Harvard. He returned to LSU acting as Chief of Arthroplasty from 2012-2016 prior to joining the faculty here at Tulane. He previously served as a team physician to the New Orleans Zephyrs from 2012-2015.
Dr. Sherman is an Associate Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine and serves as the Vice-Chair, Research, and the Research Fellowship Director. He has a special interest in robotics and direct anterior hip replacements.
Dr. Sherman sees patients at Tulane Medical Center, Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine Plus and Tulane-Lakeside Hospital.
