One in every nine of our fathers, husbands, brothers or sons will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. One in 41 will die of this disease. Prostate cancer is a formidable opponent, but through research and the tireless dedication of world-renowned experts like Tulane Cancer Center’s Oliver Sartor, M.D., we are battling back, and we are making progress. You can join the fight! On Saturday, September 21, 2019, Tulane Cancer Center will host the Sixth Annual NOLA Bluedoo to benefit the prostate cancer research fund at Tulane Cancer Center.
Bluedoo is a festival-style celebration of prostate cancer survivorship – with great food, drink, music, a two-mile walk/run and MORE. It’s also a fundraiser – the ONLY prostate cancer event of its kind in our area – benefiting Dr. Oliver Sartor’s Prostate Cancer Research Program at Tulane Cancer Center.
Proceeds from donations, sponsorships, auction/parade of prizes, raffles and party passes benefit prostate cancer research. Proceeds from walk/run registrations benefit the New Orleans Track Club.
