The mission of the Tulane Center for Advanced Medical Simulation and Team Training is to develop training to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare, improve education, reduce medical error to improve patient safety, allow for multidisciplinary research, provide an environment for healthcare development and set a standard for national education, training and certification.
The Tulane Center for Advanced Medical Simulation and Team Training is in our ninth year of providing education, training, and hands-on skills practice and assessment for all levels of medical students, residents, fellows and practicing healthcare professionals. We have worked with over 30,000 learners from the Tulane community and beyond, including professionals from all over the U.S. and the world.
Our portfolio of courses and certifications has grown to include many professional level certifications, such as, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, FES, FLS, EMT-B, PHTLS, TCCC, ATLS, B-CON, and TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer certifications. Our Tulane portfolio continues to grow to expand into more medical specialties, many of the basic sciences courses for pre-clinical medical students, and now several undergraduate and graduate science and engineering courses.
We welcome custom course ideas and requests and try to never turn down and opportunity to work with any healthcare group to improve training, education, and positively impact your patient's safety.
