  • Thursday, June 11, 2009 - John Douglas Mountz, PhD, MD, Professor of Medicine and J. W. and Virginia Goodwin-Warren D. Blackburn, Jr. Research Chair in Rheumatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Co-Director of both the UAB Center for Aging, Basic Biology of Aging and the UAB Bone Center, and a Senior Scientist at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center spoke on "Trials and tribulations of T cells:  thymic involution and T cell senescence".
