Tulane Center for Aging Director, Dr. S. Michael Jazwinski, and faculty members Dr. Victoria Belancio and Dr. Steven M. Hill, edited a book Circadian Rhythms and Their Impact on Aging, part of the Healthy Aging and Longevity series published by Springer. The series presents critical evaluation of the ongoing research and development with respect to theoretical and evidence-based practical and ethical aspects of interventions towards maintaining, recovering and enhancing health and longevity.
Congratulation to Dr. Victoria Belancio on the award of a research grant from the National Institute on Aging to study "The Impact of Advanced Parental Age on Genomic Instability in Offspring Associated with Retrotransposon-Induced DNA Damage."

Aging Studies PhD student, Lauren Kodroff, presented at the Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her talk was titled, "Impact on Microbiome manipulation on age-related inflammation and immune system dysfunction."
Former student, Dr. Jacob Kendall, has published an article in Ageing & Society titled "Living arrangements and health at older ages in rural Malawi" with Tulane faculty member, Dr. Philip Anglewicz.
