How to Apply

Tulane participates in the National Residency Matching Program. Individuals can apply for a program by creating an account and selecting a TUHVI program on the AAMC site at: https://www.aamc.org/services/eras/. Interviews of applicants are by invitation only. Applicants will be notified by e-mail if the program director chooses to offer an interview invitation. 

Each applicant must be a graduate of a medical school approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and must be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in Louisiana. All International Medical Graduates must meet all of the ECFMG requirements, and must have a J-1 Visa or be a permanent resident. H1-B visas are not accepted. Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Applicants: We will accept applications for the 2019-2020 academic year through the ERAS system from June 15, 2018- July 31, 2018. Applicants selected for an interview will be notified by e-mail by the end of August, 2018. Interviews will take place during September, 2018.

Interventional Fellowship Applicants: We will accept applications for the 2020-2021 academic year through the ERAS system from December 1, 2018-January 31, 2019. Applicants selected for an interview will be notified by e-mail by the end of February, 2019. Interviews will take place during April, 2019.
