Maggie is originally from Guangxi, China. Prior to shifting focus to medicine, she established and implemented an experiential program for a diverse student population at University at Albany, developed and maintained relationships with participants from over 10 countries. Maggie is passionate about combining her genetics specialty and interpersonal skills to build the future of healthcare. She is currently working with a number of nonprofit organizations to raise the awareness of rare diseases.
