Biography

Greg Clouatre is the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he leads strategic marketing, communications, and brand initiatives supporting the school’s academic, research, and clinical missions. With more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, higher education, digital health, and technology, Greg brings a proven track record of building programs, launching services, and developing strategies that connect organizations with the communities they serve.

Prior to his current role, Greg served as Director of Digital Health at Tulane Medicine, where he led growth and strategy for innovative care programs including Virtual Urgent Care, Mental Health Complete, and Remote Monitoring. He played a key role in launching and scaling digital health services, developing integrated marketing campaigns, managing strategic partnerships, and using data-driven insights to improve patient access and engagement.

Greg previously served as Tulane Medicine’s Telehealth Manager, where he launched the Virtual Urgent Care program and helped establish it as a successful access point for patients through operational strategy, technology implementation, vendor management, and targeted marketing efforts. Earlier in his career, he supported marketing and communications initiatives for Tulane Urology and held multimedia leadership roles at Columbia University, where he helped develop digital learning programs and faculty training initiatives.

Throughout his career, Greg has partnered with healthcare providers, academic leaders, technology teams, and external organizations to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. His work focuses on strengthening brands, improving access to care, and creating meaningful connections between organizations and the people they serve.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and English from Columbia University and holds an Executive Certification in Behavioral Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
