To be eligible to apply for the residency you must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or hold a J-1 Visa. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited medical school, passed STEP Exam 1 and both STEP 2 exams, and be eligible for a medical license in the state of Louisiana. Applications are accepted through the ERAS universal application for residency only.
