Biography

Dr. Amanda Cooke is a Consultant in Palliative Care and an Academic Hospitalist in Internal Medicine at University Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and her MD from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX. Dr. Cooke completed her Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA in June of 2017. She worked as a Hospitalist for several years before completing training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Tulane School of Medicine in June 2022.
