Dr. Libby Bowles joined the Section of General Internal Medicine as a clinical instructor in medicine and pediatrics in 2017. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Tech and her Doctor of Medicine degree from West Virginia University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Tulane in 2016. She was Chief Resident for Pediatrics from 2016-2017.
She practices primary care at the Internal Medicine Practice at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic and supervises residents in the Medicine/Pediatrics clinic.
Her clinical interests include young adults with complex medical needs as they transition from pediatric to adult providers and resident education.
