Dr. Abusoufeh earned her medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology, in Jordan. She completed her Neurology residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She then went on to complete her fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She is a certified diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Abusoufeh is a neurologist with the expertise to evaluate and treat patients with a wide variety of neurologic disorders. She has advanced training in the evaluation and management of muscle and nerve diseases and epilepsy. Dr. Abusoufeh is trained in headache and migraine treatment and management. She reads EEGs and EMGs at the Tulane Doctors Neuroscience Clinic in Covington.
Her research interests include advanced epilepsy management and epilepsy surgeries.
