Ideal Residency applicants:

Candidates must have passed all the USMLE steps including CS on the 1st attempt.
An ideal candidate would receive USMLE scores above 210 on Step 1 and 230 on Step 2

Only IMGs with status in the U.S. will be considered. ECFMG certificate is not required to interview, but must be on file when time to rank candidates.(J-1  visa sponsorship may be offered)
IMGs should have at least 1 year of clinical experience in the U.S. with 3 months of Neurology, and at least one LOR from a supervising U.S. Neurologist. Good command of English language required

An ideal candidate has graduated from medical school within the last five years but this can be considered on an individual basis if all other criteria are met and the candidate is exceptional.

Applications to our program will be accepted and reviewed as early as September. The deadline for accepting all applications to our program is December 1. We begin interviews in October and end in late January.

Our interviews are on Mondays and applicants are encouraged to arrive Sunday evening for dinner with residents. The interview day begins at 8:00 am and will end by 4:00 pm. Applicants will interview with both faculty and residents, as well as take a tour of our facilities and attend Grand Rounds.

We do not offer pre-match positions, observerships, or externships.
