Dr. Schroll received her MD from Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. She subsequently completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, followed by fellowship training in Trauma & Critical Care at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. After finishing her fellowship, Dr. Schroll became a full-time member of the Tulane University School of Medicine faculty, and holds an adjunct faculty position at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She served as the Medical Director for the Tulane Surgery Intensive Care Unit from 2013-2018. She is currently the Program Director for the Tulane General Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Schroll is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, and works as a Trauma Surgeon, Acute Care Surgeon and Surgical Intensivist at both Tulane University Medical Center and University Medical Center New Orleans, and she co-directs the Stop the Bleed program in New Orleans through University Medical Center. Her research interests include trauma, critical care and acute care surgery.
