International Emergency Medicine Fellowship

Welcome to the International Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Tulane!

We are excited to be opening our application season during the fall of 2017 for fellows wishing to start in July of 2017. The information provided here is intended to serve as a general overview of the fellowship.

The fellowship's general curriculum is planned to consist of four parts:

Tulane's MPH academic requirements

The clinical work is roughly split between two hospitals: Interim Louisiana Hospital (ILH) and Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center. ILH is the urban, Level-1 trauma center in downtown New Orleans and Lallie Kemp is located in Independence, LA- a rural, community site approximately 1 hour north of New Orleans.

Fellowship program academic requirements, including participation in international EM projects

Exposure to domains of international emergency medicine not covered by the first three components.
