Dr. Bari’s research interests include the mechanisms of microcirculation of various organs, focused mainly on cerebrovascular regulation. Recently his research group has advanced understanding of the causes of stroke-related brain injuries and the mechanisms of hypoperfusion-related behavioral changes. Dr. Bari was appointed Director of Medical Education at the University of Szeged in 2005, and he served as Dean of the Faculty between 2014 and 2018. During his career, Dr.
