GWIMS Meeting

The purpose of the Tulane Group on Women in Medicine and Science (GWIMS) is to provide professional development and leadership skills training for women medical students, residents and faculty. Tulane GWIMS Lecture Series provides professional and leadership development skills related to the following areas:

  • Networking
  • Strategic career planning
  • CV Writing
  • Preparing a Presentation
  • Work/life balance
  • Negotiation
  • Advancement at a Medical Institution

Tulane GWIMS welcomes all medical students, residents and faculty who are interested in promoting the professional development and developing the leadership skills of women in medicine and science to participate in GWIMS-sponsored and co-sponsored programming and events.
