Wednesday, November 20, 2019 - 11:30am to 1:30pmDowntown Campus
Please join us November 20 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Tulane School of Medicine for a Community Health Symposium hosted by the New Orleans Albert Schweitzer Fellowship. Hear how the 2019-20 Fellows are addressing unmet health and social needs in the local New Orleans community such as access to care, adolescent mental health and substance use, homelessness, oral health, and parenting while involved in the criminal justice system. The symposium will also offer a forum to explore service opportunities and network with community partners. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
Tulane has been an active supporter and participant with the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Program since it's inception, and Tulane medical and public health students are part of the fellowship program each year.
