What is the White Coat Ceremony?
Tulane medical students' careers begin with the White Coat Ceremony, which defines the commitment and dedication they have made to their patients and themselves as they enter medical school. At the White Coat Ceremony, students will receive a white coat, compliments of the Tulane Medical School Bookstore. The Tulane Medical Alumni Association will present each student with a stethoscope.
What should I wear to the White Coat Ceremony?
Please be advised that the White Coat Ceremony is a formal occasion. Students should dress professionally for the occasion. Women should wear dresses or suits; men should wear dress slacks with shirt and tie.
Where should I park?
Valet parking is available at a discounted rate for $16.00. Mention Tulane to receive this rate. There are also several pay lots in the area.
