Dr. Zhuo served as a mentor for the NIH Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation (FIRST) Program. This mentored career development program aims to recruit a critical mass of diverse early career faculty to the university with a focus on inclusive excellence.

The following investigators presented at the APS/Physiology Section of the 2022 Experimental Biology Meeting held in Philadelphia in April 2022. The 2022 EB Meeting was the first face-to-face EB Event since the COVID pandemic began. The 2020 EB Meeting was canceled due to the pandemic and the 2021 EB Meeting was held as a virtual event.
