I enjoy about New Orleans: A unique local cuisine with some of the best restaurants in the country. A yearlong calendar of festivals including Mardi Gras, Jazzfest, French Quarter Fest. Temperate winters, relative affordability, a unique cultural identity, a citywide sense of humor.

Extracurricular Activities: Trying new restaurants, live music, fishing, golf, cooking, walking my 2 dogs (Riley, a chocolate lab, and Pancake, a Rottweiler).

What I like about Tulane GI: The program offers a comprehensive experience. We have a robust general GI and hepatology experience that trains us to take care of very sick patients. Fellows achieve the number of EGDs and colonoscopies necessary for competency early in fellowship, with the opportunity for hands-on experience with ERCP and EUS during 2nd and 3rd year. Faculty and support staff are encouraging and invested in our success.
