Why did you choose Tulane?
I remember walking into my interview ready to justify all my flaws. However, I came out feeling so much more optimistic after having been reminded of all my strengths, because that's what they really wanted to talk about! If this program could boost my confidence during one interview, I just knew it would be the right place for me to grow. Additionally, I wanted to work in a place where there was a requirement for wholesome pediatric care, and Louisiana was just that.
What are you areas of interest within the field of Pediatrics?
I like critical care/emergency medicine, but I also would like to incorporate global/rural health. I like to work hands-on and somewhere there is an high demand for healthcare and a high patient population. I guess I'm still trying to find a place where I can put these pieces together, but I'm hopeful there's going to be one!
What are your interests outside of medicine?
Music, amateur interior designing, baking
