WWL-TV features Tulane physicians who saved woman's life

 

 

Registered nurse Ashley Pisano experienced two deadly health events on the same day. After Kendrick Johnson, MD, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Tulane University School of Medicine, treated Pisano for a brain aneurysm, the 34-year old experienced stress cardiomyopathy, or Broken Heart Syndrome. Asaad Nakhle, MD, a Tulane Interventional Cardiologist practicing at East Jefferson General Hospital. The expertise of the two Tulane physicians has Pisano on her way to making a full recovery.
