The Master’s Program in Physiology proudly recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and distinction in the field through the prestigious Honors in Physiology award. Since its inception, the program has celebrated outstanding scholars each academic year, including the inaugural awardees in 2017–2018 and continued honorees through today.
These award recipients exemplify excellence in scholarship, dedication to scientific inquiry, and a strong commitment to advancing the study of physiology. Their accomplishments reflect the high standards and academic rigor of the program and the mentorship of its faculty leadership.

The Honors in Physiology award was presented to Summer Lewis, Lindsey Paul, Bolu Adewale, and Abiodun “Kafaya” Foresythe for their outstanding academic achievement and excellence in physiology.
Emily K. Hickman, Silvana Varela Benavides, Mariana Squicciarini, and Gabie S. Vicens were recognized with Honors in Physiology for their exceptional performance and scholarly distinction.
Luke R. Young and Samrawit A. Melka earned Honors in Physiology in recognition of their academic excellence and commitment to the field.
Blake Shaw, Ahona Mukherjee, Ashley Chopra, and Lameya Aamir received Honors in Physiology for their distinguished accomplishments in the program.
For the 2020-2021 academic year, four students received 'Honors in Physiology': Anupama Kulkarni, Celine Rochon, James Wells and Kameron Wodard-El.

The following students received 'Honors in Physiology' for the 2019-2020 academic year: Brooke Beasley, Gabriela Cruz, Lillian Lauck, Laura Nussdorf, Jenil Patel and Nancy Ukoh.
