The Standardized Patient Program is located at 1555 Poydras Street on the 22nd floor. The design for the center includes:
- 24,000 square feet
- 16 fully equipped exam rooms with wall-mounted cameras
- 8 small group rooms, equipped with smart boards and projectors
- 2 large classrooms, equipped with whiteboards and projectors
- High Technology Cardio-Pulmonary simulator (Harvey)
- EKG Station
- Wireless environment allowing access for PDAs and laptops
- Computers inside and outside each exam room
- 4-station observation room
- Digital data collecting and recording system (LearningSpace)
- Standardized Patient break room
- On-site and off-site observation through LearningSpace
- Administrative offices

High Technology Cardio-Pulmonary simulator (Harvey)
The eight small group rooms on our floor are available for student study 24 hours a day, seven days a week, when not otherwise in use. These rooms can be reserved for small group sessions by contacting Data Systems in Technology Services (somav-l@tulane.edu).
The large classroom 2231 can be reserved by departments within the School of Medicine by contacting Janice Lucas in the Office of the Vice Dean and Academic Affairs (jlucas2 @tulane.edu)
