Our physicians are passionate clinician-educators, who promote life-long learning and mentorship of our students, residents, and fellows at three affiliated medical centers: University Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans, Veterand Affairs Southeast Louisiana Healthcare System, Tulane University Hospital and Clinics, and various community sites throughout New Orleans. Through educational and curricular innovations, our Section faculty are at the table and leading change initiatives to inspire the next generation of physicians and elevate healthcare in New Orleans and our surrounding communitites. Section faculty are healthcare leaders within the department, school, region and nationally advocating for quality improvements, patient safety, social justice, and equality in healthcare for our patients and learners.
