The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is home to a diverse and dynamic research community dedicated to advancing understanding of human disease at the molecular, cellular, and systemic levels. Our faculty lead investigations across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including cancer biology, liver disease, viral oncology, bone and musculoskeletal research, inflammation, and aging. From uncovering the mechanisms that drive carcinogenesis, fibrosis, and immune disorders to exploring regenerative and metabolic processes in the liver and skeletal system, our researchers are committed to translating scientific discovery into improved diagnostics and therapies.
