LA CaTS Junior Investigator Training
The LA CaTS Junior Investigator Training provides an overview of research and regulatory topics for basic scientists interested in clinical translation of their research and young clinical investigators wishing enhance their capabilities. A broad range of clinical research topics are covered including human subject research preparation, regulatory responsibilities in research (includes FDA & 1572), research navigation resources, basic principal investigator responsibilities, protection of human subjects, good clinical practices, and funding opportunities for clinical research. Occurs annually in the spring and is free to all LA CaTS member institutions.

LA CaTS Senior Investigator Update
The LA CaTS Senior Investigator Update provides senior investigators with the latest developments in clinical research. Examples of topics covered: Privacy and Information Security Issues in Clinical Research, Clinicaltrials.gov, and Conflicts of Interests in Research. Topics may vary for each training. Occurs annually in the fall and is free to all LA CaTS member institutions.
