Welcome to Tulane University Geriatric Fellowship Program! Thank you for your interest in our program. We are thrilled to offer robust training in geriatric medicine through Tulane University, Southeastern Louisiana VA Healthcare System and our community partners. Our program is ACGME accredited and now accepting applications for new fellows. Fellows will complete this one-year advanced training program to learn to deliver the complex and compassionate care to serve a diverse, aging population, working with experienced geriatricians and other specialists.

Clinical rotations are held in various settings, including the VA, serving veterans in New Orleans and throughout southeastern Louisiana, Tulane and a community-based long-term care center, St Margaret’s at Mercy and outpatient clinics. Fellows are integral members of the interprofessional teams and will work closely with therapy teams, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nurse case managers and social workers. Our curriculum offers flexibility for the adult learner to be able to tailor education to their own personal interests and unique learning needs.

We are dedicated to preparing you with the knowledge and skills to provide quality care for older adults for a diverse range of career options. We look forward to hearing from you!
