Infectious Diseases Fellowship - Application

 

 

The Tulane Adult Infectious Disease Fellowship Program is available to qualified applicants who wish to pursue an academic, public health-oriented or clinical career in Infectious Diseases.  Applicants must have completed at least three years of Internal Medicine education and be ABIM board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine. 

 

The Tulane Adult Infectious Disease Fellowship Program is “ALL IN” the NRMP match.  All positions available for training are available only through the match.  Application is made via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and we participate in the Medical Specialties Matching Program (MSMP) of the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). 

 

Applicants wishing to be considered for any post-match, unfilled positions will be asked to submit the following documents: 

  • Letter of interest or personal statement 

  • Resume, CV or ERAS application accounting for all time between med school graduation and present date 

  • Copy of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate if medical school was completed outside of the US 

  • Certified USMLE Transcript (or equivalent) 

  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) 

  • Letters of recommendation or contact information for at least 2 references, including residency program director if applicable 

 

Additional information/documentation may be needed prior to formal acceptance. 

 

Tulane University does not accept H-1B visa holders.
