The faculty is highly knowledgeable and extremely supportive. Why Tulane Infectious Diseases: Very solid research institution with plenty of opportunities to see both bread and butter as well as novel cases all while working with various under-served patient populations. The school of tropical medicine was also a very big draw not found at other programs. All of these coupled with one of the most humane schedules around and with extremely welcoming and friendly faculty made matching at Tulane a no brainier.
