Congratulations to Dr. Andrea Murina for receiving two excellence awards in teaching this academic year! Dr. Murina is the UMCNO 2020 Educator of the Year Award & 2020 Teaching Scholar Award from Tulane University School of Medicine
Dr. Leah Jacob recently joined the Tulane University School of Medicine Department of Dermatology. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and her areas of expertise are in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and skin cancer screening.
Dr. Jacob attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center where she received her Medical Degree. She then completed her residency at Tulane University School of Medicine Department of Dermatology.

Governor Bobby Jindal Signs LSMS Sponsored Bill
LSMS was honored to participate in the a bill signing ceremony for HB 746 by Representative Helena Moreno now Act 193. One of LSMS's legislative package, HB 746 prohibits the use of UV tanning equipment by persons under the age of 18.
