The Tulane Department of Radiology and its residency training program embrace and actively promote the tenets of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. In order to provide the best possible patient care, we actively work towards achieving and maintaining a department that reflects the diversity of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and gender identity present in our unique patient population.
We strive to provide a supportive environment and a true community for all of our faculty, staff, residents and students. We prioritize inclusion, personal wellness and mutual respect. We provide training in professionalism, recognition of implicit bias, and the presence of health disparities within radiology. In doing so, we hope to empower our trainees to become compassionate and culturally competent radiologists who will contribute to the advancement of equity in our profession.
