The Tulane University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery encompasses all subspecialties conducting translational, clinical, and basic science research in sports, shoulder & elbow, total joints (hip & knee), hand, spine, foot & ankle, tumor, pediatrics, and trauma.
Our educational mission is to teach our residents, fellows, and medical students all aspects of the musculoskeletal system. The goal of this research fellowship opportunity is to help qualified candidates develop their research skills and improve their C.V. We focus on mentoring our research fellows and help build networks to enhance their careers in orthopaedic surgery.
A maximum of 2 fellows will be accepted per year, ensuring that the only limit to your productivity is your motivation to succeed. The research fellowship is run by Dr. William "Bill" Sherman.
