- Health Insurance: Provided at no cost to you through United Healthcare. You may purchase family health coverage at reasonable rates.
- Dental Insurance: You may purchase optional dental coverage for you and your family provided by Guardian.
- Vision Insurance: You may purchase optional vision coverage for you and your family provided by Guardian.
- Life Insurance: Tulane covers you with a $25,000 life insurance policy. Supplemental insurance coverage is available.
- Disability Insurance: Provided at no cost to you.
- Malpractice Insurance: Provided at no cost to you through the Tulane University Office of the General Counsel.
- Educational Leave: Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in educational meetings. Tulane Orthopaedics provides financial support and time off for each resident to attend at least one meeting per year as approved by Program Director.
- Vacation Leave: Please see below.
- Parking: Provided at Tulane Medical Center - Downtown garages at no cost to you.
- Pagers: Provided by the university throughout the duration of your residency.
