We strive to give you a complete understanding of your orthopaedic issue, while exploring the best available options of treatment for you.
At Tulane University School of Medicine, we have a dual role of education and service. Patient care is provided by our outstanding faculty and resident staff. Our faculty are experts in orthopaedic problems for patients of any age, whether it is a musculoskeletal injury or a painful condition, such as arthritis.
Patients are seen at Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, East Jefferson General Hospital, Tulane-Lakeside Hospital, Tulane Sports Medicine Plus, University Medical Center (UMC), and the V.A. clinics.
Our educational mission is to teach our residents, fellows, and medical students about all aspects of the musculoskeletal system. We have a fully accredited 5-year Orthopaedic Residency. Our doctors teach Tulane University Medical Students and Sports Medicine Fellows. Through presentations at regional, national, and international orthopaedic meetings, our doctors share their knowledge with doctors all over the world.

Our team works together with integrity and enthusiasm to get you back to your normal activity. Whether it is a broken hip or a cracked finger, we have you covered from the top of your head to the tip of your toe and all parts in between, we can get you back in the game.
If you are a student, you will have access to internationally recognized experts in every area of surgery and research. In addition, state of the art cadaver and simulation training is available in orthopaedic education.

The goal of this research fellowship opportunity is to help qualified candidates develop their research skills and improve their C.V. We focus on mentoring our two research fellows and help build networks to enhance their careers in orthopaedic surgery.
