As an academic cancer center, we offer our patients the many benefits of academic care. Instead of one physician, our patients are cared for by a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, hematologists, surgeons, psychologists, nursing specialists, laboratory technicians, and social workers.
These multiple services allow our patients to visit with a number of specialists in one appointment, providing one-stop care. Additionally, our specialists are able to conference easily to establish the best treatment options for our patients.
We also offer our patients access to stem cell transplant clinical trials. Clinical research brings our patients the opportunity to participate in promising therapies early in their development.
