Facilities

At Tulane Urology, our residents have access to three major hospitals, including our own Tulane University Hospital and Clinic.

East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA has been providing healthcare to the community for more than 50 years.

Additionally, Tulane Urology residents will receive advanced training at two multibillion-dollar hospitals built in 2016.

The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System will provide Tulane Urology residents access to patients from across the Gulf South (from Florida to Western Louisiana). This partnership is exclusive to Tulane Urology residents and not available to any other urology program in New Orleans.

Tulane Urology residents will also rotate through the University Medical Center of New Orleans (Rev. Avery C. Alexander Academic Research Hospital), which replaced former Charity Hospital in August 2015. This partnership will provide Tulane Urology residents with complex and challenging case training with patients who cannot be treated anywhere else. This urology service is shared with LSU's Department of Urology.
