The General Medical Faculty includes all full and part time appointed faculty in the School of Medicine. Voting members include all full time faculty with the rank of Assistant Professor or higher. Meetings are held at least 4 times during the academic year. At the meetings, administrators report on issues of concern or interest to the faculty, and faculty address issues or concerns relevant to the Medical School, Hospital, and/or University.
The next Faculty Advisory Committee and Faculty Senators Quarterly Meeting with the Dean will be on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 at 5pm in the Dean's Conference Room and via ZOOM.
The next General Medical Faculty Meeting featuring an address by Michael A. Fitts, J.D., President of Tulane University will be Tuesday, November 26th, 2024, at 5pm, in the Main Auditorium of the Hutchinson Building, 1430 Tulane Avenue, and via ZOOM.
The nominations for 2024/2025 have closed, the presentation of the winners of the General Medical Faculty Election was announced at the General Medical Faculty Meeting, held Monday, July 1st, 2024
