The faculty of the Section of General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine are dedicated to providing high-quality patient health care and resident education through several clinical programs and locations. Our section consists of over 58 faculty members involved in ambulatory medicine, geriatrics, hospital medicine, medicine-pediatrics, palliative care, and preventative health care at three New Orleans hospitals: East Jefferson General Hospital, University Medical Center-New Orleans, and the Southeast Veterans Affairs Hospital. Faculty practice at several ambulatory clinic sites including Tulane's Living Well Clinic Downtown, Tulane's Internal Medicine Practice-Downtown, Tulane's Lakeside Multi-Specialty Clinic, Tulane's Multi-Specialty Clinic at Uptown Square, and the Tulane Total Health Clinic.

Tulane's Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship offers a unique training experience, combining classical, ACGME-approved palliative care curriculum with integrative medicine, resilience training, and international rotations, ensuring fellows are well-prepared to serve diverse communities in the culturally rich environment of New Orleans.
The Resident Initiative in Global Health Training (RIGHT) program equips Tulane residents with the skills and international experience needed for a global health career, promoting ethically-guided, evidence-based approaches to equitable care locally and abroad.
The Tulane Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program's mission is to provide exceptional geriatric care to residents of the state of Louisiana and expand the medical knowledge of fellows, residents, medical students, and agencies providing geriatric care.
