StARR Program (Research Track)

Tulane Internal Medicine is committed to developing and mentoring the next generation of physician scientists through the Tulane Institute for Physician Scientists.

Internal medicine resident candidates may apply for the research track. Dedicated research time is provided over 18 months with salary support during the fall of their PGY-2, PGY-3, and PGY-4 years through the Stimulating Access to Research in Residency (StARR) program.
