Admiral Rachel L. Levine, MD, remembered sitting in the Hutchinson Auditorium on a Match Day 40 years ago. Now, a banner heralding her accomplishments as Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services hangs on the auditorium wall. Levine returned to Tulane University School of Medicine this week for her Class of 1983 reunion, and she took time for a conversation and question and answer session about climate change and health.
Levine fondly remembered her time at Tulane and credited the education she received during medical school here as a strong foundation for her career. Click the video above to watch the entire conversation and Q&A.
