Congratulations to Dr. Anil Paramesh - 2019 Health Care Hero
Health Care Heroes honors 50 health care professionals in the New Orleans area in six categories: animal care, first responder, nurse, physician, professional and volunteer. Honorees were selected based on industry and community involvement and achievement that have set the pace for the overall community.
Dr. Paramesh’s selection as a HealthCare Hero this year is a very much deserved honor. He has done a lot of behind the scenes work for organ procurement both locally (LOPA) and on the national stage. He is the reason that LOPA even has a research division and has served as medical director in some capacity for the last decade—in January he became their permanent Medical Director.
The 2019 Health Care Heroes will be honored at 5 pm Monday, May 13, at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
