LISTEN: Radio town hall focuses on Tulane research and importance of clinical trials

The Tulane Clinical Translational Unit (CTU) works to bring science from the laboratory to the community, and provides a wide range of services to help investigators conducting clinical trials and other types of research. The CTU is currently enrolling participants in studies examining medical conditions including long COVID and Type II diabetes. Florice Numbi, a clinical research coordinator, and Blaire Williams, a research nurse, both joined New Orleans City Council member Oliver Thomas to talk about the research happening at the CTU.
