The Tulane Center for Clinical Research (TCCR) is one element of Tulane's participation in the LA CaTS NIH Collaborative Project Grant.

What does the TCCR aim for?

To support clinical and translational research across Tulane University! 

Comprehensive centralized clinical research infrastructure, including but not limited to space and staffing to support and facilitate the work of clinical investigators in an efficient, timely, and customer-friendly manner

Staff and Investigator training to support and facilitate the work of clinical investigators in an efficient, timely, and customer-friendly manner

Focus on safe and ethical conduct of clinical research

Supported by the Tulane School of Medicine

Located downtown on the HSC Center campus

Fee for service/staffing support

What can our facility do for patients and researchers?

  1. Physical exams
  2. Multiple procedures
  3. Private interviews
  4. Laboratory testing
  5. Multiple diagnostic tests
  6. Most types of data collection
  7. We can assist with arrangements for inpatient beds for studies that may require hospitalization.

We are currently supporting protocols in Epidemiology, Genetics, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Behavioral Sciences, Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Endocrinology, and Renal Disease, as well as protocols related to other areas of research, such as Bioengineering.

Where are we?

The TCCR is located at 1440 Canal Street, Suite 1700, in the heart of New Orleans. Easy access to parking and both bus and streetcar routes at the front door make this location ideal for subject and provider visits.

What other services do we offer?

In addition to providing an excellent environment for investigators to access resources in informatics, biostatistics, research design, and clinical trials support, TCCR also includes research training and development programs.

TCCR also offers assistance with ClinicalTrials.gov to the School of Medicine Faculty.
