SEROEPIDEMIOLOGY AND IMMUNITY OF COVID-19 IN SOUTHERN LOUISIANA
The COVID-19 Seroepidemiology and Immunity in Southern Louisiana (or CSI for short) is recruiting participants to better understand the body’s immune responses that children and adults have to becoming infected.
We are looking for individuals and households/families in which there has been at least one person who tested positive for COVID-19 at any time point, especially families who have kids! We are bringing the entire family in to our study site at downtown Tulane, and the visit lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours. We go through a consent form, two questionnaires, and it is followed by a blood draw. All participants receive a $25 gift card (which works like a debit card) each after the visit to help offset the costs of parking and transportation. Participants will get the results of their antibody testing (a research test which is not FDA approved) a few weeks after their visit with us.
If you are interested, contact us at seroepicovid@tulane.edu, and we are happy to make an appointment for you!
