MS in Bioethics & Medical Humanities Capstone Projects

The capstone project is the final project, where students synthesize and apply what they have learned through their studies in the MS in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. Students are encouraged to collaborate with other students on issues they would like to continue working on after graduation.

The final project can take different forms. It can be a research paper, podcast, YouTube essay, or community service campaign to educate stakeholders or the general audience, new educational modules for high schools, health professionals, medical schools, residency programs, or hospital ethics committees, or assistance to hospital ethics committees in developing new policies that address bioethical needs.

At the end of the semester, students present their projects to faculty and fellow students in the program.
