The Biomedical Informatics Master's Program is a four-semester program designed to enrich and improve the credentials of graduates, and to prepare them for future careers in biomedical informatics, such as to apply for biomedical informatics analyst, data scientist, or other healthcare-related professions.
The Division of Biomedical Informatics and Genomics offers a Ph.D. concentration in Biomedical Informatics and Genomics (BIMI) within the Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Ph.D. program to assist in the discovery of novel therapeutic treatments and point to new lines of scientific and medical inquiry for improving human health. The program, Ph.D. concentration in BIMI within BMS, is a part of the doctoral programs in Biomedical Sciences at Tulane University’s School of Medicine. The Center for Biomedical Informatics and Genomics (CBG) is currently seeking 3-5 current or future students of the Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Sciences to join its multidisciplinary research team. Interested students may choose a faculty member from the CBG to serve as their main advisor. After completing all course requirements, students will conduct research in the CBG for the duration of the program and receive an annual stipend through the Center. The curriculum is specific to the CBG, and will be open to all students of the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program. Prospective students should apply to the Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Sciences through the School of Medicine.
