Students Against Food Insecurity (SAFI): SAFI is driven by the passion and dedication of Tulane University students who are determined to make a difference. Located right next to the uptown campus at 7215 Zimpel St., the pantry provides a welcoming space where students can access essential food items, fresh produce, and other necessities, completely free of charge. Through this pantry, we strive to address immediate needs while also promoting education about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Swipe Out Hunger Program: The program is available during the Fall and Spring semsters for any Tulane student struggling with food insecurity. Students are eligible to receive (3) meal swipes, valid at any Meal Swipe location on the uptown campus.

Mindfulness/Meditation Practice: Mindfulness and meditation provide a “pause button” amid the chaos of clinics, departments, classrooms, and research labs. Just a few minutes of intentional breathing can lower cortisol, sharpen attention, and rekindle empathy, protecting against burnout. Carving out space and time for mindfulness is a small investment that yields healthier people and better care.
